No one is immune to stress, anxiety or depression… including leaders.

Although mental health has become an important focus in the workplace, not everyone is comfortable talking about it. We don’t often hear about leaders who have suffered from anxiety, stress and depression. Additionally, many continue to believe that to have a successful career, you can’t suffer from any of the above, because if you enter this box, you will be perceived as a liability.

Personally, I have had anxiety all my life and I have suffered twice from stress. And although this has happened to me, I have recovered and I continue to be able to meet the high demands of the corporate world. I think it’s time we destigmatize anxiety, stress and depression.
